That’s a wrap! Axial’s third annual backpack drive for School on Wheels is complete!
Each year, Axial organizes a backpack drive for children facing homelessness across Massachusetts through School on Wheels of MA.
We collect new backpacks, donations, and supplies during the month of August, and personally deliver the fully assembled backpacks with the supplies needed to the SOWMA warehouse in East Bridgewater, just in time for the start of the new school season.
SOWMA’s mission is to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students impacted by homelessness. In 2023, their needs and requests have doubled from the previous year.
It is truly a rewarding experience for our team to be able to make such an impact.
